I gotts to give you props for making Dawn sexually appealing, a feat I thought wasn't possible. And your attention to detail is phenomenal, superb work!

This is the kind of art to rave about. :)

Liking the concept...

I very much like the direction your taking the Arthurian legend in. Though, you realize you will now have to explain how Gwen came to own this blade of legend...

This design very much looks like the Excalibur depicted in the movie Merlin. As opposed to this wondrous art piece, it was a simple, but fine looking weapon. What separated it was the sound of it's whoosh through the air, and seeing this picture made me hear that sound once again. As ugly as the concept of a weapon made for mass killing is, the sound it makes will forever be much more beautiful than a gun...

Anyhow, this is nice and I believe a solid 8/10 are well earned.

Might this be something that will happen more in the future?

I do plan on explaining how Gwenhwyfar got the weapon, but it's nothing that epic. She was married to Arthur long ago.

This is something I may do more of in the future. Concept sketches, clothing sketches and the like to add a visual element to the story. A glimpse into what I see when I'm writing everything down.

...I didn't realize how much of a sucker I was for cross references until I saw this picture...

You captured so much, I'm finding it very hard to review this. So much done so successfully in one picture... almost like the picture itself was the treasure! All I can say is thank you for sharing your art and I hope you do more, this is far beyond any tribute to Zelda, or even Indiana Jones, that I've seen. If no one's yet told you, let me be the first to say you're a success. And I hope I'm not the last. :)

Straight out of Magic: The Gathering...

OK, I don't expect you to know what that is, but this looks exactly like a card you would find in a set of Magic cards.

I actually like the one brush deal. The simpler look gives it an interesting appearance. And the background's just fine, I see no problems. All in all, an overall success. I like it and I hope you got good marks.

Would love to see more of your work in the future,

I'm glad you think it looks like a Magic card, because I'm actually working towards illustrating magic cards in the future! I'm a long way off but I hope to get there some day.

Normally, I would try to think of something meaningful to say. But with a meaningless yet good picture, why bother? Most of what there is to say has been said.

I WILL say, however, that your all around anatomy looks just a tad screwy. I don't know why exactly, but the Nazi Slayer looks goofy.

Still a good drawing.

And I so totally agree: "Rate the art, not the history."

His picture shows up when you look up "fail," in the dictionary. It's a fact. Good as always. Your characters have a life to them of all their own. I hope you never stop doing good stuff like this. Just a question if ya don't mind. How big is your workload at any given time? Just curious. Let me know when you answer.

A whale? That's unusual...

Someone else said it first, but I think a "Jewel God" would have either a lot more jewels or more detailed ones. It still looks quite impressive. Give more to the details, play a little more with the lights and shadows and I think you'll have something incredible. Keep it up.

Quite nice!

It's just nice to see:
1)The level of detail. This MUST be your calling in life. I wouldn't believe it if it wasn't, this is so good.
2) A different style. Dragons with human anatomy is a tad strange, but a very fresh angle.
3) The all around success of the image. The only shortcoming I could possibly find was some improper lighting. I think that the light streaming from the tree should be more evident on the characters. And I'm not quite fond of the copyright text all over the image. But that's just nitpicking. This is good, I'm glad it's in my favorites, and ignore fools like Saelos. People leaving bad reviews like that for no reason have nothing good going for their lives. Pay no attention to that!

I've been seeing that everyone finding it odd for having anthro art here. I mean I find a lot of crazing things on here lol and people are weird out from my stuff. I understand though it's new and really no one on here made this kind of art.

Thank you, ^_^ I was really never good at shading and lighting XD. It keeps on being the wrong direction, all so It depends on what computer your using to. Because on a windows 7 or vista it has a more highlighted feel on their skins of the over brightness of the picture. Yet I should of shined them even more to make a glaring effect of some sort. I do see what you meant lol

Oh I have to have copyright because on deviantart people tend to steal art thus I have to protect them some what from those sick people that can't draw or just like to steal. I, people was stealing my art and devaintART requested to me to put a copyright links on the picture, and when I did so I stop having a ton of people stealing my art.

Thank you I will take your word by heart ^_^ I've been have a lot of comments saying really bad and mean things about what I draw. It's so nice to know that either though you might not fully like the kind of art I do, you appreciate that it's very well done and understand that I work my hardest to make the kind of art I like good.

People like you are the reason I suffer from inferiority in the artistic department. Makes my two works on this site look pretty amateur. Anyways, this is incredible! The colors ARE rocking my mind, the array is just sweet and, all around, it is B-E-Auuutiful! Keep up the good work!
