Your hopes have been answered...

...because I watched this and enjoyed it THOROUGHLY!!! With 547 reviews, it isn't necessary to go on and on about this, it's just AWESOME EVERYTHING!!!! Voice acting, animation, comedy, you got it all down pat! And I'm now in eager anticipation of the next installment! :D

In light of how wonderful it was, I have noticed some things I would appreciate and hope you take note of: I think there should be some menu buttons added, so I can go straight back to the main menu instead of waiting through the credits more than once. Also, a scroller bar would be nice, but I understand that it's more difficult to program in Flash. I make these statements to make it easier for us to review funny moments like "Schme" more than once. :D But if it's too difficult to do, please let me know.

And one last request, please include a reference to the "Rage mode," that appeared in the games. It just ought to be canon at this point and I'm sure it would be no problem for you to get some humor to go with it as well. I hope you respond, as I enjoyed this greatly and hope you give my requests some thought!

From a huge fan,
DarkX.

Jazza responds:

Two very good requests, I definitely want to do a rage reference, I would not have fit in this one though but I think I know a good place for it in a future episode! Thanks for the awesome review mate

It's hard for me to leave a lengthy review...

..because I'm laughing pretty hard! I hope this gets an honorable mention if nothing else, because this was hilarious! Star Wars fans and George Lucas will love this!

Galneda responds:

My goal was achieved when it got on the front-page, so for now it's just a "man who wants nothing is invincible situation" lol

(....though that WOULD be totally sweet...)

Thanks very much man! I hope Lucas' would love this enough to overlook his ability to sue us into oblivion! <:D h-heh, heheh...hm....heh... *sweats profusely*

Interesting...

... the KRDL was from something you have already done. Fond memories :)

This showcases some good animation on your part. Good, good, good!

You know what's the most strange about you? You're a divine mix between a serious animator, a spammer and drug influenced artist. That being said, I look forward to seeing the projects in here that are under construction be finalized. But on a last note, where's your experimental flash?!?!?!?!? YOU are way overdue!

Horsenwelles responds:

ooooh

the mario thing?

its sort of abandoned... but i can still throw it together...

and thanks for the kind words.

PS: spammer? how observantly creative.

First time I watched this...

...my hand was still on the mouse. When the bird got zapped, I spazzed and nearly clicked hide movie! Lol. Short, funny good stuff. :)

Megadarkly responds:

Thanks man... This was actually my first flash I created so It's good to know that somebody likes it.

Dang...

...your current score is only 2.77, including my vote. And considering your talent, that's a let down.

Again, good stuff. I imagine this would be a lot gorier if you had actual Flash. You saving up for that by the way? You should be.

Pictures were better this time around. You're really squeezing that I-Pod flash to its limits, I can tell. I have given higher scores this time around because I have decided that you have earned the benefit of the doubt.

Ominous and chilling... all with sub-par equipment. Consider yourself talented.

Waiting to see more,

DarkX.

cerebraldoom responds:

i love you..

Ok, alright, it was good...

...but could we have done without the flashing penis??? Really now, the banana f****ng a strawberry wasn't enough? You yourself said that Newgrounders find porn elsewhere, not here!
Some things never change...
On another note, it was pretty funny, a bit more original than most and clever on quite a few notes. Even though this is clock work, its really good. It's just the penis that killed it for me.

Oh well.

DarkX.

JujubeLock responds:

The only thing changed from the original was the flashing penis. That was supposed to be the joke.

I'm at an honest loss of how to feel...

...so a three and a seven should do. Considering that we're talking about Flash FROM AN I-POD, (I can't sincerely believe that Apple has Flash in it's clutches too! What next, Namco???) I'd have to say it's impressive. And I do dig the "notebook," drawing style. And it's trippy. Nothing ever wrong with that. However, it LOOPED. I HATE loops. They are only meant for video game songs that don't have an end. Not for Flashes. And some things were hard to make out.

To sum it all up, save up and get the real Flash. I'm sure you could work wonders with that and a Wacom tablet if you can get your hands on one. For now, the highlight of this whole thing was that the guy freakin' shot the sun! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT???

Good luck to your future endeavors,

DarkX.

cerebraldoom responds:

Thanks for the awesome review. I really appreciate it.

I just cracked like an egg!!!

It was a bit long of a wait. But for the original, expert gags, great animation, great sound (you dare enter the lair of BOSS MAN!!!?!?!?) it was worth it! Those other characters looked interesting and I would love that this be continued and expanded upon! You're a great model for animators to aspire to and I hope you continue to produce grade A works like this. Rock on man!

-DarkX.

PS: If you could get a hold of a good programmer, is the making of a game out of this any bit of a possibility? That would be amazing and I would so play it! Whatever your choice is, good luck in your future endeavors!

DarqV responds:

You're too kind! And yes, if I could get someone to program it, I'd LOVE to make a game out of this. I'd just need someone who's an expert and re-creating Mega Man gameplay. Like the dude who did Mega Man vs Ghosts and Goblins.

Thanks for the nice words!

Interesting...

It seems to have a good story. Animation is better than most and fight scenes are good. However, this suffers from a couple of problems. Art could get sloppy at points, action was hectic and I sometimes got lost. Dialogue moved REALLY fast. I would ward off trying to have automated text. I would advise having: A) Voices. They definitely would have helped. Or B) A button for advancing text. That would have been better than advancing it for us.

I would focus most on refining your dialogue sequences and then worry about art. Don't be afraid of more time investment if that's what it takes. It may serve you better, especially considering that I'm doing my best to give you the benefit of the doubt here. And not everyone on this site will do you that favor...

I think you have potential and I would love to see you further this technique you have. I'd be happy to be informed when you do. Best of luck to you.

canabalistic-pacmen responds:

Thanks alot! I originally was going to have voices. But then my labtop failed to read them for whatever reason. Thanks for the review!

It's the world that lives in my shadow...not the other way around.
